Ich habe gerade im Fernsehen einen Bericht über den Londoner Künstler Slinkachu gesehen. Ihr findet seinen Blog in meiner Sidebar unter "Little People". Vielleicht gefällt Euch das auch, wenn es auch etwas vom Thema abweicht.

Green Condo with Roof Garden - Making of

Wie Ihr wohl schon gemerkt habt, haben es mir diese Miniminihäuser echt angetan. Dank an MC, in ihrem Blog habe ich so viele moderne, berühmte Designerhäuser gefunden. Nach der Villa Sibi habe ich eins gemacht, dass von dem M112 POD inspiriert war, das mit dem bunten Plexiglas könnte an das Kaleidoskop-Haus erinnern. Aber nun wollte ich das Green Condo machen, was besonders schwer war, weil es nur zwei Bilder im Web gibt und ich erst einmal herausfinden (erraten) musste, welche Form es überhaupt hat. Ich habe Prototypen aus Papier und Pappe gemacht, mich aber dann doch für Pappe entschieden.
Mi t dem Ergebnis bin ich nicht so zufrieden. Da ich nicht so exakt arbeite, sieht man jede Lücke und krumme Linien. So ist das eben, wenn man von Grund auf alles bastelt. Die anderen Häuser waren ja von den Außenwänden her schon fertig. Ich werde es wohl nochmal machen, vielleicht mit Fimo, das kann ich dann schleifen. Ich finde dieses Haus einfach super.

As you surely had noticed, I'm thrilled by the miniminihouses. Thanks to MC, on her Blog I found so many modern famous designer houses. After the Villa Sibi I made a house which is inspired by the M112 POD, the house with red and yellow plexi could remind of the Kaleidoskop-house. But now I decided to make the Green Condo and it was very difficult even to identify the whole form, because there are only two pics in the web.

I tried to draw and then make a model from paper, but it was better to take the cardboard.

I'm not so content with this outcome, because I don't work so exactly and you can see every cavity and not so good line. That's the difference, when you work from scratch! The house before had a strukture, that was allready done. I think I will repeat with other material, perhaps polymer clay, I can sand it and hope it will be a better result. I love this house so very much.

Gestern musste ich eine Zahnbürste kaufen und wappnete mich schon, keine Seifenschalen zu kaufen. Ich bin aber trotzdem nicht ohne Neuerwerbung für mein Hobby aus dem Drogeriemarkt gekommen. Seufz!

Yesterday I had to buy a new toothbrush and hoped to get out of the drugstore without buying a soap dish (because I know, there are a lot of wonderfull soap dishes). But I bought another item for my hobby though. Sigh!

Puppenpuppenhaus - Dollsdollshouse

Die Vorstellung, mir so gut wie jedes moderne Miniaturhaus, das ich mag, selbst herzustellen an einem Abend - die gefällt mir ausnehmend gut.

Furniture for the Mini-Sibi

Auf meinem Arbeitsweg liegt ein Laden für Modelleisenbahner, den ich heute mal besucht habe. Ich hatte gehofft, vielleicht Gartenmöbel oder Ähnliches als Möbelierung für mein Puppenpuppenhaus zu finden, aber dass ich gleich eine komplette Einrichtung finde, war mehr als erwartet. Das Haus: 1 €, die Einrichtung: 10 €, haha!

On my way to work I passes by a shop for model railroads, I stopped there for the first time. I hoped to get some garden benches or something like this for my dollsdollshouse, but I found the whole furniture for a livingroom and bedroom, that was more than I expected. House: 1 €, furnishing 10 € haha!

Villa Sibi arrived!

Gestern sah ich auf FlickR ein Miniaturhaus, von dem ich mir sofort vorstellen konnte, es in klein nachzubauen. Doch dann habe ich doch kein Plexiglashaus, sondern meine geliebte Villa Sibi nachgebaut. Mit einer Schachtel für Mikado-Stäbchen. Dadurch stimmt der Maßstab nicht, aber es war denkbar einfach. Den ganzen Tag auf der Arbeit habe ich drüber nachgedacht und nun ist das Haus schon fertig. Ich bin total glücklich damit, vielleicht baue ich noch ein paar Möbel dafür, mal sehn. Oder das Badehäuschen. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, noch mehr schöne Häuser in ganz kein nachzubauen, anders komme ich sowieso nicht dran.

Yesterday I saw a miniaturehouse on flickr and immediatly could imagine to build a similar one for the dollhouse. It was acrylic, but I like more the villa sibi and so decided to "build" it. I used these little box for pickup-sticks. So the scale is not correct, but it was very easy, nearly ready. The whole day while working I thought about it and now it's ready. I am sooooo glad with it. Perhaps I will make furniture, or the little bath-house. I also could imagine to build more famous dollhouses with balsa-wood, that's the only way to get them for me.

Inspiration

was an inspiration for me. I love the stairs, I love the whole (selfmade) house, but I love most the sofa made with a wooden box. I tried ín vain to catch one and so I hoped to find one day anything I can use. I really like, that it is stylish, but you can see the normal use.
In the morning I had the idea of a room with red, but my weekend is full of dates, so I hoped to do it on sunday evening.
But because it is so relaxing just to put a few things together - I startet just after work this evening with one item I found on the street and one i bought in the big store........

Auf diesem Foto sieht man die Markise für die Terasse. Ich mochte den gelb-gestreiften Stoff nicht und wollte eine durchsichtige Lösung. Leider reichte mein Material nicht aus, doch in die Lücke habe ich einfach etwas rotes Plexiglas geklebt, sieht doch aus, als müsste das so sein.

ENG.: Here you see the marquee for the terrace. I don't like the yellow cloth and wanted a see-through solution. My material was not enough, so I glued some red plexi in the hole. I think it works well.

Hier sieht man, dass der Raumteiler eigentlich der Garten sein sollte und dass das Regal aus einem Teil des (rosa) Daches gemacht ist. Ich mag diese genoppte Verpackungsfolie, daraus mache ich irgendwann nochmal was, hier ist sie nur die Rückwand für den Flur.

The room-diviner was the garden before and the shelve is made from a part of the (pink) roof. I really love this wrapping, that comes in nearly every packet. Once I will make something with it, today I used it for the wall in the corridor.

Renovation-day

Today (Corpus Christi) is a holiday in my country and so I worked on my Villa.

First I painted more things black.

I'm very angry with me because of the pillars. the result is unbelievable bad. I hope, that my son won't have a look at this.

I wasn't shure wether the side wall would be better in the middle or like in the next foto.



I decided to put it like this and glue a little shelve (made from the rest of the mdf). By the way, I read a few days ago in Doreen's Blog: "I hate MDF".Today I can say the same: "I hate MDF" and there are too many reasons to tell you all.
Then I glued the room-divider, even if I think, that partition is a much nicer expression. but my daughter now wanted to "help" me to update my old-fashioned english. A sheet of sort of cloth is a better background than my ingrain wallpaper.
