Ich liebe diese süße kleine Kommode - gerade richtig für mein Smaland-Haus.

In dem schönen Lichtspiel sieht man ein paar Sachen aus dem Räumungsverkauf des Trödelladens. Der Gamsbock ist doch wirklich ein super Fund!

Estetisk-Box

Ich habe nun die Estetisk-Box einfach mal umgedreht. So sind kleine Lichtschlitze entstanden. Vielleicht werde ich versuchen, sie mit der Stichsäge noch etwas zu vergrößern.

I just flipped the Estetisk-Box and now I have little groove for light. Perhaps I will try to make it bigger with my jig saw.

Steingarten - rockery

Den Deckel der Teedose wollte ich schon lange verwenden, aber es passte irgendwie nie. Heute ist mir dann doch etwas eingefallen. Und ich habe auch noch einen Zen-Steingarten gemacht. Ich weiß dass dazu auch der Buddha nicht passt, aber Geschmack ist was gefällt.
Ich habe noch eine Skulptur aus Fimo gemacht - daran habe ich unheimlich Freude.

I wanted to use the top of the tee-tin for a long time, but I found no scene, where it fits. Today I had the idea to make a rockery and then put the tee-tin-top and the buddha all together. I know that it doesn't belong together - but it's my gusto! I made the sculpture of clay and it's a great pleasure to me.

Skulptur

Heute hatte ich ein nettes Gespräch mit einer Frau in einem Laden für netten Schnickschnack. Unter anderem erzählte sie mir, dass die Holländer viel unverkrampfter mit Kunst umgehen und auch viel mehr Skulpturen aufstellen als wir. Dann schenkte mir mein Sohn zwei Kugeln, die er aufbewahrt hatte, weil er sich fragte, ob ich nicht etwas damit anfangen kann.
Aufgrund des Gesprächs fiel es mir leicht, sie zu etwas zu verarbeiten. Schließlich war meine Oma Holländerin!

I had a nice talk with a lady in a shop for nice things, decoration etc. She told me, that the Dutch people have a more joyfull and playfull way of living with art. They have much more often sculptures in their flats than the German. After this my son gave me two little balls and said, that he wondered if I could make something of it. Hey, after the talk with the lady it was easy for me to make a desicion, what to build: My grandmother was Dutch!

Torso

Da ich mit dem Balsaholz so gern arbeite und auch noch ein Schnitzmesser aus einem Schweizer Holzschnitzerdorf besitze, habe ich mich an einer Torso-Skulptur versucht, die ich im Internet gesehen hatte. Links das Endergebnis, daneben der erste Versuch und am Boden weitere Versuche sowie Holzlöffel für die Küche, die auch noch abfielen.
Es macht mir riesig Spaß zu schnitzen.

Neuerwerbung: Osterei aus Porzellan

Es dient als Bodenvase. Ein relativ wertvolles Stück, zweckentfremdet.
