The only-roof-house

This is the german expression for the a-frame-houses: Nurdachhaus - means onlyroofhouse. I love this word.
I began to build it from cardboard severel weeks ago and - as you could see in this blog - I had no time or wasn't in the mood for miniatures.
But it's the new name of my blog: Wir sollen heiter Raum um Raum durchschreiten. This is very hard to translate. Like: We should cheerfully pass throug room by room.
And today the room (in german the same word for space) is for continueing this work. I made some wooden walls for the inside and the roof from paper napkins. This looks ugly, but I'm sure I will make Progress, hopefully with Neomis help, because she is good in papermachee.

I put some furniture in the house and put it on my balkony while the glue was drying. You can see on the foto that the most difficult part will be the windowframe. Uff!

Hope you like the fotos of the progress on FlickR too.

I have to apologize for my lazyness in answering your nice and sweet and helpful comments. Please forgive me, I hope I can do that later, there is a lot around my ears at the moment. This day was off because my aunt has her 80th birthday and I was there for coffee and to help a little bit. But there was enough time for some other things  - as you can see.
Have a good week!

  6. That's amazing, I've not seen an A-frame dollhouse in years. At least since the 80's. my roof has lots of miniatures and dollhouses under it
