the lawyer's office

Update: I looked for a container in the style of paris-renfroe. this was the most similar thing I found in "my" railway-shop nearby.

in the last weeks - since I took the new medicine - all my thoughts are surrounding my work, my work, my work. there were so good experiences, disappointment and some very bad things happend. but today I decided, that I don't want to tilt at windmills any more.
I signed my contract - fulltime. I'm not sure that this is the best solution, but I will see what happens long-range with my medication. I hope that I'll be able to think of other things now, but today I made an office-scene, a typical office of a lawyer in my company:

  1. Oh, my goodness, you've even got windows on the moniter!

    A very modern lawyers office.

Does that mean you quit your job???

  2. Oese, I love the lawyer bag! Normally filled with contracts, a few reference books and a bottle of something stronger than water!

    You did a great job.

I hope all turns out well for you

  3. Beautiful room. Where are the lawyers? In court? Suing each other??? I especially like the reflective surface of the desk and how your photography captured it. CM

  4. Hi Dale, thank you very much. Nice you like my office-scene. No, I didn't quit my job - even if I wanted it - but just the opposite: Now my time-limited contract is changed into a nearly irredeemable one. That are good news and bad news, both.

Lize, you know a lawyer? Or have you heard of it? Everything you have heard is wrong. They are worse.
Thank you for your nice compliment! I apprechiate.

Hey Flocke, they are in the conference room suing each other and everything/-body. The mirror was the only thing that suits as a desk in this scene,I'm glad you like it.

  7. "i signed my contract" hätte es besser heißen müssen, "subscribe" ist eher im Sinne von "abonnieren" zu verstehen ("subscribe to a magazine").

  8. What an excellently designed scene. Love, love, love it. I really adore all the cabinets and the little stuff.

  9. Hi Oese :-)
I wish you all the best with this new direction in your life and hope it all works out well :-) and sorry to hear you have been ill.

I really like the large desk and all the accessories you have used in the scene! it looks so alive! great :-) an ideal lawyers office...

  10. A very nice scene and it looks so realistic!
I love the shelving system, and it even fits the Lundby scale! Can I ask where you have bought it?
Good luck on your full time work decision, I hope it turns out to be the right one!

  11. Hi Amy and Natalie, thanks for your comments, nice you like my office.
Pubdoll, so good to see you are here! Thanks for stopping by. This is the link to th shelving-unit:
I took three of them, when I saw, how cheap they are. And then I broke them! haha.
I can use them now in different ways, and as you noticed I can use them even in lundby scale. But the colour of the wood is not my taste at all. For this scene it was perfect, but there is no matching table in my collection-
Perhaps you order it too and can show me how to use it in your uncomparable style?
