Pflege verschiedene Stimmungen.

Verweigere "verantwortlich zu sein". Tu es aus Liebe.

Mach eine Menge Nickerchen.
Gib Geld weiter. Mach es jetzt. Das Geld wird folgen.
Glaube an Zauberei. Lache eine Menge. Bade im Mondlicht.
Träume wilde, phantasievolle Träume. Zeichne auf die Wände.
Lies jeden Tag. Stell dir vor, du wärst verzaubert.
Kicher mit Kindern. Höre alten Leuten zu. Öffne dich, tauche ein.
Sei frei. Preise dich selbst. Lass die Angst fallen.
Spiele mit allem. Unterhalte das Kind in dir. Du bist unschuldig.
Baue eine Burg aus Decken. Werde nass. Umarme Bäume.
Schreibe Liebesbriefe.

Josef Beuys

Und hier die Übersetzung von katimus:

Everyone is an artist

Let yourself go. Learn to watch snakes.
Plant impossible gardens.
Invite someone dangerous to tea.
Make little signs that say "Yes" and spread them throughout your house.
Become a friend of freedom and uncertainty.
Look forward to dreams. Cry at movies.
Swing as high as you can on a swing in the moonlight.
Have differing moods.

Refuse to "be responsible". Do it for love.

Take a lot of naps.
Give money away. Do it now. The money will follow.
Believe in magic. Laugh a lot. Bathe in the moonlight.
Dream wild, imaginative dreams. Draw on the walls.
Read every day. Imagine you'd be charmed. Giggle with children.
Listen to old people. Open yourself up, dive in.
Be free. Praise yourself. Let the fear fall away from you.
Play with everything. Entertain your inner child. You are innocent.

Build a castle made of blankets. Get wet. Hug trees.
Write love letters.

All the best for all my foreign readers, I hope you use to do some of this, and I also hope you'l add some in 2011!

  2. Thank you for sharing this poem. I was fascinated with Joseph Beuys once although I don't really understand his art. But I definitely love his philosophy!

  5. Happy New Year Oese, thank you for all the inspiration you have given me last year and for being my friend and thank you for sharing the wonderful poem! I read it first in German and enjoyed it immensly, but I didn't understand all the lines, so thank you Katimus too, for the translation!

  6. Happy New Year, Oese! Thanks for sharing this lovely poem. I know Beuys' artwork, and this poem's lightheartedness surprised me, but in a good way. Very nice words with which to begin 2011. I hope it is a very good year for you, and I am happy to be your blogger-pal. Hugs.

  7. Thank you all so very much. I'm glad that obviously nobody knows this poem allready. I was surprised these are words of Beuys too. I knew his art of course, his hometowm is in my country near my hometown and there are a lot of exhibitions at the moment, but like some of you I was not a huge fan of his art.
May all our dreams come true - or not. Be yourself in any case and let the light shine through.
