I received THREE wonderful reac-chairs today and I couldn't resist to show you the first of it, allthough I knew that it is a bit overwhelming, when I post so many new pictures in one day.
I try to keep the others for a while, so everyone can enjoy this blaze of colour!

For Jivan and Satyam: Thank you ...

... that you sold some of your toys to me. I hope your daddy will read this to you and I'm sure that very soon Jivan will read of his own, because he is a very clever little guy. How do you like the things I made of your stuff? Do you recognize it all? For example the little lamp on the side-table, do you know from what I made it?

I hope the little packet with the hairgrips arrived meanwhile. I'm sorry I was a bit late with sending it. Thanks again for the hairgrip with the little horse. Isn't it nice in the shelve?

Designer-furniture

I'm allways searching for beautiful designer-furniture in 1:1 that will match to my style. I often save photos and hope I'll eventually find the time for recreating them or someone who wants to do this for me. I still hesitate to give an order, when I havn't tried of my own yet. yesterday I plugged in a new router and it looks very cool, white and highgloss. The wall-holder for this rooter was nearly thrown away, but then I saw the potential for my dollshouse as a designer-furniture-piece. The dresser is made of building-blocks.

The visit of grandchildren

Yesterday I had a nice dvd-evening with a friend. We watched "The Nanny Diaries" and had a lot of fun. Before I found a few things in a charity-shop and used-toy-shop and she helped me to get the easter decoration out of the basket I had in mind as a basket for newspapers. It wasn't easy to get it off indeed! I would have destroyed it, if I'd tried it.
I finally found a needlepoint-work in a wooden frame, that I was looking for in the last month, I wanted to use it as a carpet and this one is perfect. I also found the mask on the wall, the grammophone, a necklace with the beads (vases) and some very tiny hello-kittys.

Because I don't want to make a nursery I decided to show you the tidy room of grandparents during the visit of their grandchildrens: The alcohol is banned from the table, something to eat and books everywhere and the toys on the carpet.
They hope the wonderful new carpet will stay clean.....

Winter farewell

I saw the green of the first snowdrops today, very small, very delicate. Usually they are nearly faded in the middle of February. I found a few things on my way to the rubbish bin and made an arrangement with it. The last wave of the winter - I hope so.

I often speak about the fact, that in my office nobody tells us we work good, but every single mistake is never forgotten to be mentioned.
Today was a day I felt that I only did everything wrong. Nobody noticed it and I corrected everything (I hope), but it was very frustrating for me.
Allthough I purchased Anninas K-House-furniture and planned to be a good girl and buy nothing more this month I MUST go to the railway-shop today, because I want to do something against my frustration. I knew there was a little trailer I would like to buy. After picking the trailer I had a short look at the N-scale houses - I bought a few of them in the last weeks - and look what I found: a wonderful church!
I think you'll agree that I have to take it, mmh?

Ich hätte dich fast übersehen! Doch auch Du sollst einen Blumenstrauß bekommen! Ich liebe es, jetzt im Sommer nach Blumen mit extrem kleinen Blüten Ausschau zu halten, sie sehen in den Szenen so schön aus und ich muss nicht so fummelig kleine Blumen basteln. Viel Spaß hier!

Furniture for the Mini-Sibi

Auf meinem Arbeitsweg liegt ein Laden für Modelleisenbahner, den ich heute mal besucht habe. Ich hatte gehofft, vielleicht Gartenmöbel oder Ähnliches als Möbelierung für mein Puppenpuppenhaus zu finden, aber dass ich gleich eine komplette Einrichtung finde, war mehr als erwartet. Das Haus: 1 €, die Einrichtung: 10 €, haha!

On my way to work I passes by a shop for model railroads, I stopped there for the first time. I hoped to get some garden benches or something like this for my dollsdollshouse, but I found the whole furniture for a livingroom and bedroom, that was more than I expected. House: 1 €, furnishing 10 € haha!

Blaue Küche - blue kitchen

Vormittags - a.m.

... ist für eine relativ kurze Zeit die direkte Sonne auf meiner Fensterbank. Leider ist meine Wohnung so geschnitten, dass - zumindest im Sommer, wenn die Sonne hoch steht - mir mehr Licht zum Fotografieren nicht zur Verfügung steht. Dann nutze ich die Gunst der Stunde am Wochenende.
Heute morgen beim Abwasch fiel mir auf, dass mein Frühstücksbrettchen so eine schöne Maserung hat und schwupps, wurde es eine Wandverkleidung. Ungewöhnlich, aber möglich.
Auf dem Tisch liegt nur eine kleine Auswahl von Pailetten und Bastelsachen, die meine Mama noch in ihren Schubladen gefunden hat.
Ein schönes Wochenende Euch allen und hoffentlich kommt Christy's Haus endlich heil an.

... there is for a small time the fully sunshine at my windowswill. Unfortunately my flat has - in summer, when the sun is high - no more good light for fotographing. Then I really enjoy this hours for taking pictures.
While the dishes I realized how good looking my wooden breakfast-plate is - and so it becomes a wall-paneel. Unusual, but possible. On the table there are pailettes and other craft-stuff my mom found in her drawers.
A nice weekend to all of you and I hope that Christy's house arrives today.

blau

Gestern hatte ich das dringende Bedürfnis, etwas in blau einzurichten, habe aber leider nur türkisblau gefunden, eine Plastiktüte und ein Teil einer Verpackung der Elfinchen-Barbie. Das Licht war aber gestern abend nicht gut. Heute morgen habe ich noch frische Blumen vom Balkon gepflückt. Ich habe mir in diesem Jahr nur Pflanzen mit extrem kleinen Blüten gekauft. Unter der Glasplatte des Tisches eine Haarspange.

yesterday i felt like blue, but I only found turquoise-blue, a plastic bag (on the wall) and a part of the wrapping for Elfinchen-Barbie. But in the evening I was not happy with the light. This morning I took a few flowers from my balkony. In this year I only bought plants with very extrem little blossoms. The glass tabletop shows a slide.

Balsaholz für Modellbauten

Seit ich mit dem Fahrrad zur Arbeit fahre, habe ich einen Modellbauladen direkt auf dem Weg gefunden und dort auch das leicht zu bearbeitende Balsaholz. Daraus habe ich neun dieser Kisten gebastelt. Ich wünsche mir schon lange in 1:1 solche Möbelkisten, da sind sie mir aber zu teuer, diese hier haben weniger als 2 € gekostet. Sie werden noch etwas geschliffen und lackiert.
