Ich liebe ihn!

Und ich habe noch in meinen alten Singles-(Erinnerungen) gekramt und eine gefunden, die ich 1972 gekauft habe: Ben von Michael Jackson. Obwohl ich kein großer Fan war, bewegt mich doch der frühe Tod dieses Ausnahmekünstlers und die Trauerfeier, die momentan stattfindet.

Models

Ich mag sie gar nicht Puppenhäuser nennen, es sind mehr Architekten-Modelle, diese ansprechenden Designer-Puppenhäuser, die ich im Netz gefunden habe - und ihr natürlich auch, wenn euch moderne Miniaturen interessieren.
Ich habe ganz spontan zu einem Notizblock, Kuli und Schere gegriffen und hatte in kurzer Zeit dies Haus hier fertig. Wer kann erkennen, von wem das Original ist?

Spontaneously I put paper, ballpen and scissor and in a very short time this blueprint was ready. Who knows from whom the original is?

Tapete - Wallpaper

Weil mir die Siebziger Tapeten so gut gefielen, habe ich gleich noch mehr ausgedruckt. Die für's Kinderzimmer findet man hier im Babyzimmer.

und im Wohnzimmer eine meiner Lieblings-Farbkombinationen mit Türkis.

Ich drucke die Tapeten auf normalem Schreibpapier aus, schneide sie passend für die Wände zurecht und klebe sie mit Patafix an den Ecken fest - so kann ich öfter mal wechseln.

ENG.: I like the wallpaper in the seventies room, so I made more: You can find one here and in the living-room you can see one of my favorite color-combination with turquois.
The Wallpaper is printed on normal paper, then cutted in the form of the wall, fixed with a little tack - so I can change as often as I want.

Wie man sieht, habe ich nun eine neue Druckerpatrone!

Bei Ebay habe ich einen Lundby-Plattenspieler ersteigert, der genauso aussieht wie meiner damals, und noch Boxen dazu. Während der Wartezeit widme ich mich nun der passenden Deko für das Zimmer, die Poster und Platten, an die ich mich noch erinnere - wie schön, dass im Netz alles zu finden ist. Nur Accesoires und Deko habe ich echt wenig. Wenn ich meinen Kram so durchsehe, fällt mir auf, was es 1973 alles noch nicht gab!

I shot a lundby recordplayer on ebay that looks like mine I had in the seventies - and a few other technic items. Until it arrives I give attention to the decoration of the walls: posters and record-covers I remember. How nice to find nearly everything in the net. But Ihave nearly nothing to decorate. When I see my stuff I notice, how many things we didn't have in 1973!

Update 05.07.2009: Rebecca reminds me of batik, when she told about macramee, so I took some blue and red fruits and tried to batik a cloth: it works! The record covers are now really covers and not only a cutted picture of it (and my hands full of glue). The Barbie-Lamp is a little bit too big, but I like the color. The Thyme on the table is lovable and fits to the color, too. My "new" recordplayer is on it's way, there will follow some updates.

2. Update 05.07.2009:
Because I think, there will be a lot of work on it and I will not distroy it soon, I put the room into the vine-box in stead of the cupboard. I can carry these box into the sun and perhaps later put a plexiglass before it. Now I have a window (without glass yet) in the room. And sunlight. It's a very hot summer day, I don't like the heat, so stay inside and enjoy the coolness. For this weather it is good, that the sun is high, but for the fotos not. I'm looking forward to autumn and winter, when the sun will shine into my flat and not only on the windowsill.

Zu klein - too little

Es ist mir sehr peinlich, dass ich mir diesen Playmobil-Flügel gekauft habe und mich immer von den Fotos und der Größe des Kartons habe täuschen lassen. Ich weiß doch, wie groß Playmobil ist! Nun kann ich den Flügel immer nur aus bestimmten Blickwinkeln fotografieren, damit es nicht so auffällt.
Für einige Tage ist ein Schimpansenbaby zu Besuch, leider darf es nicht bleiben, aber die Wohnung ist nicht artgerecht.

It is very embarassing: I bought this piano and had been misled by the package and the fotos in the net. But I KNOW, how big playmobil is! Now I have to find special angels to take fotos of this piano - so that the wrong size doesn't catch your eyes.
There is a little visitor for only a few days. The flat isn't appropriate to the species.

Not my cup of tea

Mit den Holzmöbeln kann ich mich nicht so anfreunden, zumindest die Stühle kommen jetzt weg. Sehen die Designerstühle nicht viel besser aus? Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass ich mein Leben lang in Kiefer eingerichtet war und es jetzt durch die Minis auf so viele andere Stile (die ich mir nicht leisten kann) gestoßen bin, dass ich im Puppenhaus gerne auf Kiefernholz verzichte.
Aktualisierung: mmh, je länger ich mir das so anschaue, finde ich die Stühle doch ganz okay. Vielleicht versuche ich mal, Hussen dafür zu nähen - wenn ich das kann....

The wooden furniture is not my cup of tea, the chairs will be given away. I like more the designerchairs, don't you? Perhaps the reason is my lifelong living in such furnishing and now I can handle with other styles (I cannot afford in reallife), so it's okay to "miss" them in the dollshouse.
Act.: The longer I look at the chairs the more I found them acceptable. Maybe I will make "Hussen" for them - if I can.

Ach, und Nicola: Das mit dem Uhu-Patafix nehme ich wieder zurück. Die Wachsplättchen halten entschieden besser! Siehe unten:

Und so sähe die Stühle mit Hussen aus - mal wieder typisch ich: nur drumgewickelt und mit Tesa festgemacht.

Ich hätte dich fast übersehen! Doch auch Du sollst einen Blumenstrauß bekommen! Ich liebe es, jetzt im Sommer nach Blumen mit extrem kleinen Blüten Ausschau zu halten, sie sehen in den Szenen so schön aus und ich muss nicht so fummelig kleine Blumen basteln. Viel Spaß hier!

Schon wieder Trödel - rummage once again

Today I visited the rummage-shop and found these stuff:

I took the railway-house for the stairs only, but later I thought, it would be a nice dollsdollshouse too.

In my tv-magazine there is an art every week and this week I was lucky to have "seven a.m" from Edward Hopper. I like this picture very much, but in fact it doesn't look perfect in this scene.

The red carpet was hard to clean. On the shelf you see the closures of my mini-perfumbottles
and the agate disk I bought on the market today.

The house without the stairs look like an old collector house.

Meanwhile in the neglected kitchen and bedroom.

70er / 70s

1970 war ich 13, ich habe meine Teenagerzeit in diesem tollen Jahrzehnt verbracht. Für einen richtig tollen Partykeller fehlen mir noch so viele typische Sachen, aber heute habe ich wenigstens schon einmal den unvermeidlichen Flokati gefunden und die Streichholzwohnlandschaft gibt auch ganz gute dreiteilige Matratzen ab, auf denen wir uns in den Jugendheimen oder Kellerbars damals lümmelten.
Ich habe meine alten LPs aus dieser Zeit vorgekramt und wollte sie in mini machen, aber mein Drucker braucht dringend eine neue Patrone, das muss noch ein paar Tage warten. Dann kann ich auch noch ein paar Poster für die Wände drucken.
Für heute muss es ein Magazin tun, dessen Titel 1973 so aktuell war wie heute!

I was 13 years old in 1970 and a teenager in this special decade. But for an original "Partykeller" are a lot of typical items missed. But yesterday I found the indispensable "Flokati". The matchbox pillows in this scene should look like threepart mattrasses we had in nearly every room for youngsters.
I also got my old records and tried to make minis of them, but my printer needs a new cartridge - that must wait untill next month. So I put a magazine title on the wall instead of the posters I wanted to print. It's actuell 1973 and current:
