oh, mir fällt nix ein - no idea for the title

Hier kann man sehen, wie ich das mit der Sch...säule löse: Kommt einfach ein Windspiel davor.

Auf diesem Foto sieht man die Markise für die Terasse. Ich mochte den gelb-gestreiften Stoff nicht und wollte eine durchsichtige Lösung. Leider reichte mein Material nicht aus, doch in die Lücke habe ich einfach etwas rotes Plexiglas geklebt, sieht doch aus, als müsste das so sein.

ENG.: Here you see the marquee for the terrace. I don't like the yellow cloth and wanted a see-through solution. My material was not enough, so I glued some red plexi in the hole. I think it works well.

Hier sieht man, dass der Raumteiler eigentlich der Garten sein sollte und dass das Regal aus einem Teil des (rosa) Daches gemacht ist. Ich mag diese genoppte Verpackungsfolie, daraus mache ich irgendwann nochmal was, hier ist sie nur die Rückwand für den Flur.

The room-diviner was the garden before and the shelve is made from a part of the (pink) roof. I really love this wrapping, that comes in nearly every packet. Once I will make something with it, today I used it for the wall in the corridor.

Renovation-day

Today (Corpus Christi) is a holiday in my country and so I worked on my Villa.

First I painted more things black.

I'm very angry with me because of the pillars. the result is unbelievable bad. I hope, that my son won't have a look at this.

I wasn't shure wether the side wall would be better in the middle or like in the next foto.



I decided to put it like this and glue a little shelve (made from the rest of the mdf). By the way, I read a few days ago in Doreen's Blog: "I hate MDF".Today I can say the same: "I hate MDF" and there are too many reasons to tell you all.
Then I glued the room-divider, even if I think, that partition is a much nicer expression. but my daughter now wanted to "help" me to update my old-fashioned english. A sheet of sort of cloth is a better background than my ingrain wallpaper.

Here is the result with a few pieces of furniture.

Egg cup - a success story

Schon in meinen allerersten Szenen spielte ein kleiner Eierbecher mit.

Dann fand ich in einem Laden diesen sündhaft teuren Eierbecher aus Skandinavien. Tagelang bin ich an dem Geschäft vorbeigelaufen, bis ich das Paar dann doch gekauft habe. Es eignet sich als Tisch und als Waschtisch, wie man sieht.

Der Eierbecher aus Metall ist aus dem Trödelladen und hat fast nichts gekostet, ich mag ihn sehr als Barhocker. Sobald ich roten Knautschlack oder Ähnliches finde, bekommen sie schöne Sitzpolster.

Gestern wollte ich diesen kleinen blauen Salzstreuer von einem Wühltisch kaufen, aber es gab ihn nur im Set mit: EIERBECHERN. Auch sehr günstig, und ich sah natürlich erneut einen schönen Waschtisch.

Bin schon sehr gespannt, was mir noch so für Eierbecher über den Weg laufen.....

Regensonntag - rainy sunday

Meine Villa hat noch keinen Sonnenstrahl gesehen, obwohl ich extra alles umgestellt habe, damit sie vor dem Fenster stehen kann. Doch ein verregneter Sonntag kann auch schön sein.


Alle Möbel - bis auf den Schreibtischstuhl - habe ich selbstgemacht.

My Villa haven't seen any sunray, even though I changed the whole (1:1) room and put it before the window. but a rainy sunday can be nice.

Villa Eichhorn - pimped

Dass im oberen Teil nun ein großes Zimmer ist, finde ich toll. Ich mag es gar nicht möbelieren, so gefällt mir der viele Raum. Aus der Platte für den Garten und den Säulen für den Balkon habe ich einen Raumteiler gemacht, den ich überall hinstellen kann - variabel.
Es gibt noch viel zu tun, ich werde wohl die hellen Holzteile noch beizen oder lackieren oder beides und an allen Ecken gibt es was zu schleifen und zu streichen.
Aber zum Einrichten ist es schon okay. Oben bin ich wie gesagt ganz einverstanden, mit den Kindermöbeln und Puppen komme ich nicht so gut klar - die muss ich völlig umarbeiten.

I love the fact that there is a huge room in the first floor. I don't want to put furniture in it, because I love the feeling of enough space. I took the "garden" and the pillars and made a partition, I can put it where I want. There is a lot work to do, I propably will bate or varnish the bright wood - or both. There are also a lot of edges to sand or paint.
But for a little setting it is ready. I love the first floor, but I'm not so happy with the childrens-dollhouse-furniture. I have to make up them totally.

5:30 Uhr

So früh bin ich heute aufgestanden und habe weitergebaut. Natürlich konnte ich es nicht lassen, in den Rohbau schon einige Möbel zu stellen. Wer sich für die Arbeiten interessiert, kann den bisherigen Werdegang verfolgen.

Während der Bauarbeiten...

Ich schwärme ja von der Villa Sibi, weil sie Möglichkeiten lässt, in einem Raum zwei Bereiche einzurichten. Deshalb wollte ich unbedingt ein großes Zimmer und ein flaches Dach haben. In diesem Haus sah ich das Potential dafür. Die Teile für das spitze Dach eignen sich gut für ein Flachdach mit einer Aussparung für schönen Lichteinfall (die eigentliche Dachgaube). Ob ich den Balkon dranlasse, weiß ich noch nicht, ich möchte eigentlich lieber anstatt des Gartens eine Veranda haben.
Eine Treppe musste natürlich auch sein. Ich halte es da (schon immer) wie MC, die ihre Hausbewohner auch nicht teleportiert sehen möchte.
Ich überlege noch, ob ich mir zutraue, die (inzwischen schwarzen) Säulen so zuzusägen, dass das Dach eine kleine Neigung erhält. Darüber werde ich wohl mal schlafen - und Übersetzung mach ich auch morgen...

ENG.: I really love the Villa Sibi, because of the possibility to set rooms with two sections. So I wanted to have a big room in my new house and a flat roof. In this I saw the potential. The two parts of the roof glued together make a perfect flat roof with a cut out for wonderful light to come in. I'm not shure if I want the balcony, I like more a veranda, but not the garden. Shurely I need stairs. As MC I don't like the inhabitants to teleport into the next floor. I have to think about my skills to saw the pillars in a way that makes a little roofpitch. I'm not shure to be able....

Mein neues Haus - my new house

Pünktlich zum Wochenende kam meine Villa Eichhorn an. Weil dieVerpackung beschädigt war, habe ich es sehr günstig bekommen. Die Qualität und Verarbeitung ist sehr schlecht, das Holz gesplittert, nicht lackiert, vieles zerbrochen. Durch die Kundenbewertungen war ich schon darauf vorbereitet und deshalb habe ich mich auch dafür entschieden: Je schlechter die Qualität, um so besser lässt es sich umarbeiten und aufmotzen. Und das habe ich natürlich vor, denn so ein Kinderhaus gefällt mir nicht. Von dem Rosa wird nichts übrig bleiben....
Doch jetzt heißt es erst mal warten, bis die Farbe getrocknet ist, bis ich es überhaupt zusammenbauen kann.
Nun habe ich auch vier Puppen, obwohl ich eigentlich gar nichts für Puppen übrig habe. An diesen ist ganz schön, dass sie so große Füße haben und deshalb in allen möglichen Situationen stehen können. Vielleicht freunde ich ich noch mit ihnen an.

Just in time to the weekend my Villa Eichhorn arrived. Because the wrapping was damaged I've got it for a real good deal. The quality is very bad, much splinters and the wood is not varnished. I knew this from the customers comments and exactly that was the reason to buy it: the more bad the quality is, the more I can remake it and pimp it up. And that is my intention, of course. There will be no pink left....
But now I have to wait until the paint is dry, before I cannot build it together.
Now I have four dolls, allthough I don't like dolls so much. This dolls have very big feet, so they can stand in different positions. Perhaps we become friends after a while.
